Upgrade to Windows 10 without a problem, but then lighting display violent, light-footed, scripture, fuzzy, this laptop was not meant for play, but has to use 3D modelers, the quality of the image makes this use impossible.... Having to invest in multiple adapters before you find one that works is therefore unfortunately necessary... It is unfortunate that ASUS does not specify the brands of adapters that are compatible (I have not tested the ASUS, because some users have reported that it was not working).
